Review by hotel critic
Varada Place proved to be a decent pick for my family's retreat. Nestled along a lively street, it's a stone's throw from numerous cafes where we enjoyed our breakfasts. The atmosphere was welcoming, a vital aspect as I often guide families seeking leisure experiences. The highlight for my kids was the charming cats that roamed around, providing endless amusement. The staff were friendly, which made settling in easy. Plus, the stable WiFi allowed me to catch up on some conservation work while my family explored. We found the beds comfortable, with nice touches like curtains for privacy and handy lamps. It felt generally quiet, allowing for restful nights after our day trips. Although we did long for the luxury of a pool or dining options, the place delivered exactly what we needed-a clean room in a safe environment. Varada Place may not be luxury, but it served its purpose well for a short family stay. We left after two nights, but it offered a charming and relaxed home base for our adventures. If you're after simplicity and convenience for your family trip, this is a solid choice.
